Sometime in 2016, the game was renamed to Notoriety. It was also featured on the Roblox Youtube channel in a video in the review series " Game Reviews by maxxz" largely praising the game - although noting it's various bugs. The game gained a large amount of traction in 2015, with many Roblox Youtubers making videos on the game, with some channels oriented around the game. The game continued to receive updates regularly. On July 25 2015, the game was renamed to Heist, commonly believed to be due to copyright issues.
Notoriety was made by Roblox developer Brick_man, known at the time as Brickman2010, on J - the original place being made on January 29 2010.įirst known as ' Payday 2', the game received updates daily, with only very small breaks, from it's release up until around Jwhere development stopped for a year, until resuming in March 2015 where the game received updates from time to time.
